discharge coil

The FDGE series of discharging coils are used in power systems of 35kV and below, connected in parallel with high-voltage capacitor banks. They enable the residual voltage of the capacitor bank to rapidly discharge to below 50V within 5 seconds after it is disconnected from the power system, ensuring the safety of equipment and maintenance personnel.
This product can be equipped with secondary windings. During normal operation, it can be used for voltage indication. The residual voltage windings are connected in an open delta configuration. When there is a fault between the capacitor poles, a zero-sequence voltage is generated, driving the protective device.
