BTD series transformer core clamp grounding current monitoring instrument

The transformer core grounding current monitoring device produced by our company is suitable for transformers with voltage levels of 500kV and below.

When a transformer is in operation, the electric and magnetic fields of the winding work together to make the various components of the iron core (including clamps, etc.) have different potentials. If the iron core is not reliably grounded, intermittent discharge may occur due to different potentials, damaging its insulation; On the other hand, if there are multiple grounding points in the transformer core, a closed circuit will be formed between every two grounding points through the core itself and the grounding line. The circulating magnetic flux in the circuit will induce a circulating current, causing local overheating of the core. In severe cases, it may cause local burning and seriously threaten the safe operation of the transformer. The BTD-II and BTD-III transformer core grounding current monitoring devices, as well as the BTD-IV transformer core clamp grounding current monitoring device, are mainly used in high-voltage substations, substations, and power plants to monitor the grounding current of the transformer core during operation, provide value-added alarms, and output (4-20) mA current and RS485 signals for computer systems to achieve unmanned power station management.
